This policy explains what personal information Elite Tabletop LLC collects, why, and
what control you have over it. It applies to elitetabletop.com and to orders placed
through it.
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, email address, shipping and billing
addresses, and phone number if you provide one.
Payment details: card numbers are entered directly with our payment processor
and are never stored on our systems. We receive only confirmation of payment and the
last four digits for reference.
When you create an account: your login credentials and order history.
When you contact us or sign up for updates: your email address and whatever you
choose to include in your message.
Automatically as you browse: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed,
and referring site. This comes from cookies and similar technologies.
How we use it
- To process, fulfill, and deliver your orders
- To send order confirmations, shipping notifications, and tracking
- To answer your questions and provide support
- To handle returns, refunds, and restock notifications you’ve asked for
- To detect and prevent fraud
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it
- To send marketing emails, if you’ve opted in
- To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations
Who we share it with
We don’t sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We share only what’s necessary with service providers who help us operate:
- Payment processing: to charge your card and handle refunds
- Shipping carriers and label services: to deliver your order
- Email and messaging services: to send order and marketing communications
- Website hosting and analytics: to run and improve the site
These providers may only use your information to perform their service for us.
We may also disclose information where we reasonably believe it’s necessary to comply
with the law, respond to a valid legal request, enforce our terms, or protect the
rights and safety of our customers, our business, or others. If our business is ever
sold or transferred, customer information may transfer as part of it.
We may publish aggregate, de-identified statistics about sales and site traffic. That
data can’t identify you.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your session, and understand how
people use the site. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, though the site’s
shopping features may not work correctly without them.
Marketing emails
We only send marketing email to people who’ve opted in. Every message has an
unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect promptly. You’ll still receive
transactional messages about orders you’ve placed. Those aren’t marketing and can’t
be opted out of while an order is active.
We do not currently send marketing text messages. If that changes, we’ll ask for your
consent separately and explain the terms before you opt in.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you
- Get a copy of it
- Correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete it
- Opt out of marketing
- Opt out of any sale or sharing of your data for targeted advertising
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
To make a request, email support@elitetabletop.com. We’ll verify your identity before
acting, and respond within the time your state’s law requires. You may use an
authorized agent; we may ask for proof of their authority.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as needed to support your purchase and to meet tax and
accounting requirements, generally seven years. Account information is kept while
your account is open. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
Security
We use encrypted connections across the site, and payment information is handled by a
PCI-compliant processor rather than stored by us. Access to customer data is limited
to what’s needed to run the business. No system is perfectly secure, and we can’t
guarantee against every risk, but we take this seriously and will notify you as
required by law if a breach affects your information.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information
from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us
and we’ll delete it.
Other sites
Our site may link to sites we don’t control. Their privacy practices are their own, please read their policies.
Changes
We’ll post any changes to this policy here with an updated date. Significant changes
affecting how we use your information will be communicated more directly where the
law requires.
